According to the European Framework of Reference for Languages, "German proficiency A1" means elementary language use. This means that a learner at this level can understand and use everyday expressions and simple phrases to meet their concrete everyday needs. You can find more information here.
To complete level A1 you need A1.1 and A1.2. A partial level takes us one month. I.e. for A1.1 you need 4 weeks and for A1.2 another 4 weeks. Thus, you will have completed level A1 only after two months.
If you have successfully done A1.1 and can continue to A1.2, you can join A1.2
